Ean Ross is a litigation lawyer with Kidston Helm Ross. Ean practices primarily in the areas of estate litigation, family law, and property disputes. Raised in Vernon, BC, Ean is a second-generation lawyer with a lifelong ambition to practice litigation.

Ean completed his undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia before pursuing his legal education in the United Kingdom. While attending Staffordshire University, he had the unique opportunity to participate in a legal competition at the UK Supreme Court, where he won in front of Lord Hughes of Ombersley. Ean has developed a broad network of professional contacts across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Called to the British Columbia Bar on May 5, 2021, Ean's approach emphasizes clear communication, practical solutions, and strong advocacy to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients.

Outside of his legal practice, Ean is deeply involved in the local soccer community. He’s a director for the North Okanagan Youth Soccer Association, a division rep for the Kelowna Men’s Soccer League, and a coach for Vernon United. He also volunteers at tournaments and helps organize teams, combining his love for the game with a commitment to mentorship.

Ean embraces the outdoor lifestyle that the Okanagan offers. He plays soccer year-round and enjoys hiking, cycling, motorcycling, and squash in the summer. During the winter months, he takes to the mountains for snowboarding. His active lifestyle and deep roots in the community make him a dedicated advocate both in and outside of the courtroom.

“Ean was professional as well as very caring. Extremely thorough and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him."
